Hello & Welcome

Hello and welcome. My name is Carley Dole- yes Dole like the pineapple. Although I look and act what we consider “normal” my life is anything but ordinary! I am both a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) survivor after an accident in 2012. Throughout my recovery, there wasn’t much information out on TBIs or SCIs and resources were limited due to the fact that there is still so much we don’t know about the brain. I wanted more than anything to find resources and stories like these that I could relate to and find comfort in knowing that I wasn’t the only one going through something like this. I’m in no way, shape or form a medical professional- and what has helped me in my recovery is not guaranteed to help you or your loved ones through there's. But I am a TBI survivor who hopes her story in some way, shape or form helps you and yours. I'm super excited to have you embark on this journey with me!
